I got a robo call saying £700 has been taken from my visa, seems like a scam to me.

Got a call from this number saying they were from HMRC and that there was a fraud warrant against me. They told me if I didn’t press 1 to talk to their offices, they’d put the warrant through and I’d get arrested. I didn’t press anything and just ended the call. Just a heads up to watch out for this kind of scam.

I got a call from an Asian man who was asking loads of questions, but he already seemed to know my name, my address, and even my postcode. I decided to stop responding and just ended the call. Since then, he’s been ringing me non-stop. It’s getting really annoying now.

I couldn’t hear anyone speaking, just noise from what sounded like a call centre in the background. I said hello a couple of times but then the call just cut off. This number has rung me a few times and it disturbed my sleep on my day off, so I’ve decided to block it now.

Every time I call, I just get a recorded message that goes something like, "Sorry, the person you’re trying to reach isn’t available right now, please leave a message after the tone." This happened both when I called shortly after missing the call and then again a couple hours later.
