Beware of the number 07969 661690 - it sounds harmless but it’s actually quite risky! Yesterday, an accent-speaking lady with very clear English rang my elderly mum, who’s 80. She claimed she was calling about my mum’s pension and insisted there was some money owed to her, then asked for her bank details. Mum told her straight away she never shares her banking info and the caller hung up. Mum’s beginning to show signs of dementia and is getting forgetful, but luckily she stayed sharp enough this time to not fall for it!
