About a week ago they messaged me, but I only just saw it now. Didn't bother replying and have gone ahead and blocked the number.

I’m a sole trader and this is my own personal phone number. Somehow, a dodgy company got hold of it through some sort of computer scam. I contacted both the police and my network provider about it straight away. I definitely haven’t been the one making those annoying calls. Honestly, if anyone got pesterd by them, I’m really sorry, but it wasn’t me! On top of that, I was getting bombarded with calls every 20 seconds for like 5 hours, which was awful :-( Luckily, I signed up with TPS and they seemed to handle it alright.

Never picked up the call but later got a message from an unknown number, so I blocked it straight away. The message said something like: "A bunch of scammers are using our phone numbers to ring people. I’ve reported this to the cops and my phone company, plus I signed up with the TPS (which is free and backed by the government). You might want to do that too."
