Couple days back we got a call on our home phone from someone pretending to be Amazon. My hubby picked up but when he heard it was a recorded message he just ended the call. Thankfully, he doesn't know any of our bank stuff so couldn’t have shared anything even if he wanted to. I told him to remember, Amazon doesn’t ring up on a landline like that, so it’s gotta be some kind of scam.

i've had a call from this number three times in just a couple of days, claiming it's Amazon and that money has been taken from my bank (which ive already checked and nothing's missing). why on earth would a massive company like that bother bothering people and risk upsetting them like this?

Got a call from someone saying they were Amazon saying I owed them £79.99. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!
