They didn’t say who they were at the start. Said they were from Amazon and told me someone unknown had used my account to order a £149 iPhone. The caller got really rude and started shouting at me, saying I had to go along with it or they'd approve the purchase anyway. They insisted only Amazon could give the okay, so my bank’s security didn’t matter at all (!!). After talking over me and yelling, they just hung up. Sounded like an Indian or Pakistani accent, which is a shame. Watch out for this sort of call! I’m definitely reporting that number.
