I got a call from this number claiming I’d been charged £79.99 for an Amazon Prime subscription. It was one of those automated voices telling me to press 1 to cancel if I didn’t want it. Something felt off so I just ended the call. After looking at my bank statement, there was no payment taken at all. A quick search online showed loads of people saying it’s a known scam. Best to just block the number straight away.
