Got a call from someone who said they were a senior manager at the RBS branch in St Anns, Manchester. They knew my name and started telling me about the branch's opening times, then asked if I needed anything. I was suspicious straight away, so I just gave short, blunt replies and ended the call after less than a minute, about 46 seconds. It got me thinking - could they be recording your voice to pretend to be you when they call your bank later on?

Got a call from someone saying they were Ali Mahmood, a senior personal banker at RBS Manchester St Anne’s branch. Said it was just a quick courtesy ring and not to worry about anything, but asked me to ring back when I could.

On 14th July 2020 I got a voicemail from this number, 07967779447, saying it was RBS St Anne's Branch in Manchester. Oddly, the call seemed to come from an EE mobile. Felt a bit off somehow.
