Today I got a call supposedly from BT, telling my 81 year old mum they were going to disconnect her phone and internet. I quickly rang BT myself and checked, giving them the number that called. They confirmed it wasn’t from BT at all. They said BT only rings from 03 or 08 numbers. Definitely a dodgy call trying to scare her.
