Just got a call today, mentioned I’ve got a broken wrist and fibula, replied with a smiley face 😀

Hey, I got a message earlier today saying something like "Hi, this is Sarah. Please don’t freak out, but I’m in hospital. I fell and broke my fibula and my left wrist. Can you help me out with something? X" Honestly, it’s a total scam, so just block that number straight away! Don’t fall for it!

The number is from the Orange network. I tried contacting Orange to report it, but the person I got through to was at some overseas call centre and really didn’t get what I was trying to say. Spent a couple minutes on the phone for absolutely nothing!

I've just received a message from this number too, and it’s really upsetting. Who do we even report this to? It’s so mean and just makes folks panic for no reason. I think someone really ought to look into this.

This number is definitely shady, they send messages wanting money through voucher codes and stuff. After that, they keep texting about some operation or a broken leg or whatever. I wouldnt trust any messages coming from here!

Funny thing, I got a text from a hospital earlier today too. They asked for Sarah, Sarah T specifically. So I flipped it on them and asked who I actually was!

Today, at 12:49 on Thursday 7th January 2016, I got a call from someone saying they were Sarah T from a hospital. As soon as I asked if they had dialled the correct number, the call ended. It’s Daniel McKenna here. Honestly, there’s so many scammers these days trying to trick you and steal your money.

Just got a message from someone called Sarah saying she's in hospital and asking for a favour. Sounded a bit off, same sort of thing others have mentioned.

I got a call from that exact number too, some person acting like they know me but clearly don’t, asking for some sort of help. Ended up reporting it to the cops.
