Got a call from someone pretending to be Amazon, telling me an order for an iPhone 7 had been made for £399, and that my card would be charged. Total con! Amazon definitely doesn’t confirm orders like that over the phone. I even pressed one to speak to them more and gather details for Action Fraud, but they didn’t like that at all and hung up sharpish.
