I had the misfortune of receiving a call from a bloke with a thick foreign accent, claiming to represent Virgin Media. He insisted he wanted to chat about an issue with our dodgy router. It certainly felt like a bit of a scam to me!

Got a call from a guy speaking with an Indian accent who claimed there’d been some activity on my Virgin broadband account, said others had managed to get into it. I told him I wasn’t interested and just hung up. Total scam, since I don’t even have Virgin broadband. But I guess it’s a decent trick for them because loads of people actually have it, so they probably catch quite a few.

Got a scammy call earlier. The guy wanted my name but when I asked what name he had on file, he was stumped. If there really was a dodgy transaction, wouldn’t he already have my details sorted? Bit fishy if you ask me.
