I got a call on my phone from an automated voice pretending to be from HMRC. Said they’d been sending me letters about some tax fraud stuff, but I never replied. Now they’ve supposedly frozen my bank accounts and National Insurance number! Then they said if I don’t press 1, I might get arrested or something. Seriously, when will these scammers stop with these risky calls?? It’s so annoying and stressful!
