Got a call saying my National Insurance number was possibly being used illegally. They told me to press 1 to talk to someone about the fraud. I decided not to bother and just reported it to HMRC's fraud department to be safe. I found it a bit strange since it’s rare they’d use a mobile number, and my own mobile is pretty close in digits to the one that called me, which was a bit unsettling.
