Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, saying my SIM card was expired and they'd send me a new one. They told me to ring back on 02046043661 if I had any problems with the replacement SIM. They asked for my email to confirm my identity, so I gave them a fake one, but they didn’t seem to notice the mistake. The caller said they’d sent a verification link to the email I gave. The person said his name was Robin Smyth, but his accent didn’t match the name - sounded more Asian. Seems like a classic O2 scam to me.
