We've been receiving incessant calls regarding a debt that we believe isn’t ours. The callers are constantly referring us to a particular company's accounts department, one that I've no ties to whatsoever! The moment we try to inquire further about the matter, they throw the Data Protection Act in our faces, which is a bit of a joke, really. It’s utterly frustrating! How on earth are we meant to address this situation effectively when these callers refuse to give us even a hint of what it's all about?

We're receiving calls from debt collectors for an account that I believe doesn’t belong to me, as they reference a business I have no connection to whatsoever. Whenever we inquire about the situation, they just start spouting off about the data protection act, which is a bit of a joke really. It makes things extremely difficult for us when we're not given even a hint of what the issue pertains to. How on earth are we meant to address this when they won’t clarify the details?
