A woman with an Indian accent called me, saying she was from VISA, which immediately felt off. She mentioned a £900 charge on my account for some online purchase, asking if I’d approved it. She threw basic questions at me like "do you wanna cancel it?" before trying to start some kind of cancellation process - yeah, right, sounded fishy to me. Then she asked if I had a mobile phone and whether it was Android or Apple. When I pressed her on why that mattered, she just fed me some nonsense. Definitely a scam.
