Got a call from a man with an Asian accent using this number, saying he was from some credit checking agency. He told me the government had sent them my details because my credit score was apparently poor. When I asked why they had my info, he went on to say baliffs would be coming to my house tomorrow over unpaid bills and then just ended the call. Some guy with an Asian accent said he was from a credit check company in Birmingham and claimed my credit score was bad because I owe money. When I asked him which debts he was on about, he just hung up. Proper dull.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from some credit check agency. He wasn’t having any of my 'no' and kept insisting I’m only doing minimum payments, which isn’t true at all. I told him to ring back another time, but guess what, his number’s blocked now. Surely no proper company would ring you from a mobile? Total scam if you ask me!

Some bloke named Matt kept phoning me about some supposed debt I didn't owe. When I told him to leave me alone, he got really rude and started threatening me with bailiffs. I ended the call, but he kept ringing me about 10 more times until I finally managed to block him. Proper nasty bloke that. I'm tempted to return the favour and ring him in the middle of the night just to annoy him a bit.

I just went along with it for a bit, then at the end I hit back and told them they were idiots cos I don’t even have a computer. They then told me to go f### myself and my dad! Got a bloke with an Asian accent saying he was phoning from some Credit Investigation Bureau. When I asked properly why he was calling from a mobile and what exactly he wanted, he snapped back with "of course i'm calling from a mobile, are you daft or what". I hung up straight away. I do get loads of work calls on my phone and most are mobiles, so that’s normal - but anyone less confident could get really rattled by that kinda call. Legit firms won’t ever ring from a mobile number. Proper scam.

Had a ring from a bloke with an Indian accent today, said he was from some Credit Investigation place in Birmingham, telling me I owed tax money! Didn’t even bother to use my full name, just called me “Mrs Clair”. He wanted to send me an email with details and probably was fishing for my bank info. I asked him for his company registration number, then, weirdly, he just hung up! If he was proper, he would have given it no problem and probably called from a landline. Total SCAM.

I know that's rubbish, told him to stop wasting my time and to remove my number. Then he started threatening to send bailiffs to my house before just cutting off. So frustrating!

It’s on my blocklist now. Whenever I share my phone number, I always tell folks to leave a message if they want me to ring them back. If they don’t leave one, I just add unknown numbers straight to my blocked list.

I didnt pick up this call either, these days loads of scammers use mobile numbers. I always check who called me first. Since I cant block numbers on my phone, I just let calls go to voicemail. They usually dont ring back cause I’d spot their dodgy names if they did, they show up when the phone rings.

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent on my phone, he was asking after my daughter. Said he was from some credit company. Thing is, my daughter hasn’t got any debts or loans at all. When she had a word with him, he just cut the call. Really creeped me out, no clue how they got hold of my number or my daughter's name.

I picked up since it showed as a mobile, thinking it could be one of the builders I've scheduled for some jobs at home. The person on the line asked for me by name, but when I asked who they were, they spoke with a strong Indian accent and said they were from some kind of “claims” firm. I just ended the call straight away.
