Got a call from a UK EE number, but the bloke sounded like he was stuck in a call centre somewhere. He said he was from Amazon, but his greeting was all broken English. While he was speaking, I could hear a woman chatting away in some language I didn’t recognise. Felt like they just wanted me to talk so they could record my voice before cutting off. There's no way this was legit Amazon. Now I’m on edge, waiting to see if they try any funny business with those companies using voice analysis to confirm identity. Proper concerning stuff.
