I was speaking with someone from the Three network, and when I asked whether this was a marketing call right at the outset, the rather dim chap on the line insisted it wasn’t. Lo and behold, not long into the conversation, it became glaringly clear that it was indeed a sales pitch. We didn’t take long to end the call as he quickly realised we had zero interest in what he was selling.
