Don’t pick up 07965 812742, it’s a bogus PPI call. Total scam, just hang up straight away.

They rang to tell me my claim had been accepted but i just ended the call straight away. Then they phoned me back right away, before i could even block the number, asking why i had cut them off. Got really annoying and kept bothering me until i lost my temper and told them off, then i blocked the number.

There was this bloke, sounded quite posh, said something about PPI payments and promised to swing by my place the next day with a cheque. He was this persistent chap, quite intimidating in tone, with a British name but sounded Asian. Kept insisting he’d ring the doorbell at the agreed time without fail.

This was defo a scam, so I just blocked the number. They already knew my name and phone number and then tried to fish out my address and more info. When I asked them to remove my details, they wouldn’t even confirm if they’d done it. Totally sketchy!

My work mobile kept getting calls from someone saying they had my address and wanted to send me a cheque for PPI. They refused to say how they got my work number. When I tried to get them to confirm the info they had on me, they kept pushing me to give my address so they could "check their system." No legit company would do things like that. After I mentioned this, the bloke got really annoyed and asked me if I wanted the cheque or not. I've blocked the number now for good!
