I tried calling this number back but no one picked up.

I picked up the call and within a few seconds, the person claimed to be from BT, saying there was a problem with my internet connection. I thought it was dodgy straight away since I’m not even a BT customer, plus they called from a mobile number which seemed odd. Still, I let them go on for a bit. They offered to fix the internet issue and wanted me to follow their directions. When I told them I wasn't a BT customer and asked why they were ringing me, they just abruptly ended the call. Totally a scam, no doubt about it.
