A rather polite individual got in touch, informing us about some folks setting up a new shop in our area. However, given that we've received this call repeatedly in the past, we decided to hang up.

I received a couple of calls from this number earlier today, and I managed to answer the second one since I was at home. There was quite a bit of clatter in the background suggesting it was a call centre. The individual on the line asked if he could speak to the homeowner. However, when he mentioned who he represented, he rattled it off so quickly that I couldn’t catch the name. Then, to throw me off even more, he casually asked, “How are you today?” After that, he inquired about a road that I didn’t recognise at all. When I requested him to repeat the question, I still couldn’t make out what he was saying. Eventually, I had to tell him I wasn’t familiar with the name he mentioned, and just like that, he hung up on me. He seemed rather anxious - perhaps a rookie in the call centre game?

A company selling energy-saving solutions is completely disregarding the Telephone Preference Service and has been making unsolicited calls. They even got my name wrong!
