Got a call today where the person said they were from HMRC but had this strange American accent. Honestly, it felt dodgy straight away. HMRC wouldn’t sound like that, especially not calling from abroad like that. Felt like a scam to me, so I just hung up without saying much. Anyone else had something similar? Pretty suspicious if you ask me.
