Got a ring from someone saying he was James from Amazon, asking if I knew a Kevin Williams who apparently set up three Amazon accounts with my phone number. I told him no and said I actually use a different phone number for my Amazon account. He didn’t ask me for any details and said if I gave the go-ahead, he’d close those accounts. Tried ringing the number back on my landline, but just got a message that their voicemail’s full. Fingers crossed it was all above board! Haven’t noticed anything sketchy on my Amazon account so far. Just a heads up to everyone out there.
