Got a call from an unknown number claiming to be Lloyds Fraud Alert about a standing order of £1129.00 to Aaron Motors Ltd that supposedly needs my okay. They gave a number to ring back if I didn’t set it up - 0800 088 4897. Thing is, I’ve never had a Lloyds account and don’t know Aaron Motors at all, so I reckon this is some sort of scam. Tried to block the number but could only pick ‘Not Spam’ or ‘Delete’, so I just deleted it. I’ll probably look into that 0800 number next as well.
