They rang me but didn’t bother to leave any message.

Got a call from 07926366166 today, a recorded voice saying my NI number's been hacked or something. They told me to press 1 to talk to their "legal team" or they'd take legal steps against me. Had a laugh cause it sounded so dodgy, almost caught me off guard. Didn’t block the number though.

This morning and yesterday, I got calls from 0060102106972. It was some recorded message pretending to be Amazon. Weird thing is, this number actually has 13 digits, not the usual 11. I double-checked it a few times because it seemed odd. Definitely some new scam going around.

For the second time, I got a call from someone claiming to be the Bank of England warning me that my national insurance number is at risk of becoming invalid if I don’t get back to them.

I got a call that claimed to be from some gov department or crime unit. They said there was a complaint about my NH number being used illegally and told me to press '1' to talk to an officer, or else my assets and property might get taken away. It definitely sounded dodgy to me. I didn’t press anything, and the call just ended. I bet it could totally frighten an older person who might believe it’s legit though, which is really worrying :-/

Got a call from 07962 666061, some woman saying she was with the NHS Track and Trace, asking me to verify my info. I told her no, and she just said alright then and ended the call!

Some muppet pretending to be from the nhs tried to mess about with me until i told em straight I’m a key worker, frontline carer. Told them to sort out a real job instead of using our brilliant nhs for their silly games. Honestly, people like that should be ashamed.

They said they were calling from the NHS and at first I thought it was just some survey. They asked if anyone in the family had covid and whether I use the NHS app, I said yes to both. Then they started pushing for who my life insurance was with, which I refused to tell them. I blocked the number straight away, definitely a scam in my opinion 🤬

Got a call from some geezer with a heavy foreign accent pretending to be from the NHS. He was going on about covid and my doctor, asking if I had life insurance. When I didn’t say who it was with, he just hung up. He’s blocked now.

This person first said they were calling from the NHS, then quickly changed it to my local council. They started asking if I had any symptoms and wanted to know who my doctor was. I said I didn’t feel safe sharing that info on the phone and ended the call.

Got a call from someone saying they were the NHS, they even knew my address and some bits about me, but strangely not my age (which is odd if it really was them!). They went on about health insurance and covid-19, saying the NHS would ‘help people without health cover’. When I asked if I had to answer, the person said no, so I tried to end the call, but they phoned me straight back. Seriously, don’t pick up, don’t share any info and watch out for scams like this!
