My elderly dad got a call on our landline, and the person said some huge amount had been withdrawn from his bank account. They then asked if he could ring their help desk and gave him a number. The caller wasn’t a robot or anything. I looked at his bank records afterwards and found nothing unusual. Honestly, I wouldn’t trust this number for a second - it’s definitely a scam.
