Got caught up in one of those online scams claiming to be from Boots, saying I’d won a free prize but needed to pay a small postage fee. Obviously, they just want your card info. Afterwards, I got a call from this number where the scammer tried to get me to log into my bank account. I’ve dealt with this bloke a couple of times before with similar nonsense. He sounds like he’s in his twenties and uses disposable phones, probably nicked, since the number changes each time. Still, I can tell it’s the same guy by his voice and the way he talks. He’s got a London or Kent kind of accent.
