Someone rang me, said they were from Amazon and wanted to take some money, about £x, from my bank. I cut them off before they could say anything else.

I hung up straight away and then called Virgin's actual fraud department myself. They confirmed that no such payment had been made. Just a heads up, be careful if you get a call from this number!

No noise at all when I answered - I'm guessing it's one of those scam calls.

Got a call from a lady claiming to be with Virgin Media, saying there was something wrong with my internet. I told her I hadn’t seen any issues at all, then she just ended the call.
