Got a call from someone saying they were with BT and wanted to test my internet speed. They then sent me an email to "prove" it really was BT. Asked me to put some details into my computer but something didn't feel right, so I just ended the call. Didn't trust it was genuinely BT.

Just recently I flagged this number as supposedly calling from BT. After checking, BT told me it's a scam as they can't trace it. On top of that, I got an email that seemed to be from BT too, but BT said it wasn’t actually from them.
