They burst in just as I was about to give my partner a right old thrashing. Not really. This isn’t junk or anything dodgy, it’s from a domestic abuse support service making outgoing calls only. They won’t tell you anything if you’re not the intended contact. Either it’s for you, or they’re trying to reach a relative involved in a recent domestic situation, or someone at risk, or the police have been called to the address within the past two days. It’s all about protection, or they might just want to check in without needing your permission, or the address could be flagged with the police due to repeated incidents, sparking an automatic inquiry.
