Got a text from this number claiming to be Royal Mail sayin’ my parcel couldn’t be delivered and I had to update my delivery details. Then they asked for a small fee, like 23p, for re-delivery. But when I checked properly, it was actually trying to charge me €431.12 to Agoda.com! Thankfully, I spotted it in time and never gave them any approval code.

This is a classic old scam going around by text. If you tap the link they send, it might load harmful software onto your phone. You can send the message straight to 7726 so the authorities can look into it. Also, if you want to learn more about these scams, the shows on BBC1 and Channel 5 are really good - they’re available on iPlayer and My5 and quite eye-opening.
