Then he asked me to use my card reader and read out a code. I told him I wasn’t comfortable sharing that and asked for another way to verify. After that, he just hung up on me. I rang Nationwide proper and they confirmed it was a scam. When I called the number again, it was the same guy but now he said his name was Josh!
