Didn’t pick up on the unfamiliar number as it seemed a bit dodgy, and they didn’t bother leaving a message. After a quick search online, I found heaps of reports about this number being linked to scam calls. Apparently, there are claims of a conservation officer saying your loft insulation isn’t up to scratch, plus ominous messages about your National Insurance number being compromised urging you to press 1 to speak with someone about fraud. There were also mentions of HM Revenue & Customs trying to chat about tax bills, refunds, and all sorts of dubious financial matters. I've gone ahead and blocked it as spam-no time for this nonsense!
