I got a robo call saying my internet would get cut off within a day. Pressing 1 connected me to someone at a call centre who claimed there was an issue with my account and my broadband was about to be stopped. I told her nothing was wrong and the usual solid white light was showing on my router, which totally confused her. She kept insisting the problem had to be on my end.

This number just rang me on my landline, claiming to be from BT. I asked the lady why she was calling my mobile instead, but she said she wasn’t. I told her my phone was showing the call as coming from a mobile, then she just ended the call.
