I received a rather dubious call earlier today. I picked up, only to be greeted by a pre-recorded message claiming to be from the Metropolitan Police. They insisted that I was involved in a serious criminal matter or, alternatively, that there was an important investigation concerning me. They urged me to press '9' to speak to an officer. Naturally, I didn’t press a thing. Definitely a scam, that one!
