I get calls from this number about four times daily, but since I switched my phone company, I’ve no clue what my landline number actually is, so I just ignore the rings.

I avoided picking up the call, but when I attempted to phone back, the line just dropped on me. Quite fishy if you ask me.

the person had my name right off the bat which is a bit dodgy, claiming to be from some government benefits agency. no real official office would ring from a strange mobile number like that. plus, i heard a strange “bloop” noise as soon as i answered, which made me think it’s one of those automated systems where calls get routed to whoever’s free. didn’t trust it so i just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.
