Some bloke called me up sayin he was sending bailiffs to my place, and yeah he actually knew where I lived. I told him I’d prefer if he showed up in person. Then he finished with callin me a ‘white p###’. Honestly, wouldn’t mind runnin into him sometime.

Got a call from a guy named Kevin who was claiming he could help clear my debts. Bit odd though, because Kevin had an Indian accent. I told him I could handle my debts myself, then he asked how much I owed. I said about 900 and suddenly they just hung up, not even a proper goodbye. Definitely a scammer trying their luck.

I keep getting calls from this number or ones close to it all the time. They’re mostly EE numbers. I contacted EE customer support to report it and all they said was they cant share info about other customers and didn’t really help much, just told me to either change my phone number or keep blocking the calls.

Got a call from a mobile, an Asian lady answered and asked if I was xyz. I asked who was calling and she said it was about debt help. I wondered if she was with a business or a charity, she said charity, then when I asked for a charity number she said no, it’s a business. So I asked for the company’s registered address and she told me to just Google it. I told her I’d check, but I need her to give me the registered address so I can verify it myself, since I work in online security at a company. That’s when they just hung up on me.

Somebody said they were from a government dept about debts, kept asking about mine and my partners debts. Said they could clear all my debts. Kept pressing for details even after I said I wasn’t going to discuss it. Then out of the blue asked if I’m attractive, single and if I get enough s##. Proper disgusting behaviour.

Ive had like ten missed calls a day from this number n never picked up. Im pretty sure EE have some responsibility here since they let these calls happen on their network. They must know what the number is being used for, like harassment and maybe even tryin to steal personal info, like others have said. Honestly, it makes me mad. I think EE should link to a site like this and actually do somethin about it cause their terms say this kinda behaviour can get your service cut off or limited.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with the national debt association, i kindly said no thanks and ended the call. After that, they rang me like 20 times back to back! Sounded like he was just sticking to a script with no real knowledge beyond that. Said he was calling from some group about a new law on writing off IVAs. When I asked which law, he just mentioned IVA rules. Told him that wasn’t an actual law and asked for the legal act’s name. He got annoyed and ended the call.

Got a call from a man with an Asian accent who sounded really rude and full of himself. He already had my name and address and was insisting I owed money that needed sorting immediately. Tried to stay calm and polite, but people like him don’t seem to listen if you ask nicely to be taken off their list. Eventually he just hung up on me. Definitely one of those scam callers. the number ive been talking about just called me again, they ring twice then hang up before i can pick up. right after that, a private number called and i answered. sorry for sending this before i finished - ive been getting loads of cold calls after a recent car accident, people offering to act for me and stuff. i just had a private caller ask for my first name which seemed odd, even scarier cos they knew my husband’s name, so i quickly ended the call.
