I got a call from a guy who sounded Asian, claiming my Amazon Prime had been compromised. He said someone dodgy from California in the States had made a purchase for £29.99 and wanted me to confirm it. For starters, I don’t even have an Amazon Prime account, and secondly, I thought purchases in the US wouldn’t be priced in pounds. The bloke kept pushing though, even after mixing up the name of his own company and the amount he said I supposedly owed. Suspicious to say the least!
