I got a message saying my card was linked to some iPhone8-Sam's phone using Apple Pay. Felt fishy straight away, so I typed the web address into my laptop, and it warned me the site wasn’t safe. Then I checked the number and found out they’re sending this exact con to loads of folks - total SCAM!

Just got a text from +447958940592 saying something like "Applepay: your card's been added to iPhone8 - Sam’s iPhone. If that’s not your phone, cancel the setup at hips://security-applepay[###]". Sounds dodgy to me, especially the link. Definitely a scam attempt, don’t click it!

Just like the person below, my card ended up on Sam's iPhone. Luckily, this site helped me sort it out - I went ahead and deleted the message and blocked that number straight away.

Got a text from this number saying something like 'your card's been linked to an "iphone 8 - Sam's iphone". If that’s not you, cancel setup here: https//security-applepay[###]'. Didn’t click on the link, and I’m on my laptop now typing this. I don’t even own an Apple phone, but I do use my mobile for payments when I shop online. My laptop’s never used for that though. Just a bit anxious - can they actually get any info from my phone number? I’m not great with tech stuff, so kind of freaked out right now.
