Someone called me saying I'd supposedly used my credit card for a money transfer. I have no clue what they were on about, felt like a scam to me. Pretty sure I never made any such transfer. It was all quite dodgy if you ask me.

Last Sunday I got a text from someone claiming to be HM Revenue & Customs saying I had a p800 tax refund for the years 2015-2020 and asking me to click on a link. It was obvious a scam, so I reported it straight away.

Got a call saying they were from Virgin and claimed there was an issue with withdrawing money from my bank. They told me to click a link to update my bank info so my service wouldn’t be cut off. But Virgin emails never include phone numbers. Definitely a scam. Best to ring your bank directly and don’t use any numbers they give you. Always get contact details from the official company website.

Got a text mentioning some kind of tax refund, but I’m not sure if it’s legit or just a con. Haven’t even opened it to be on the safe side.
