Someone called me saying I'd supposedly used my credit card for a money transfer. I have no clue what they were on about, felt like a scam to me. Pretty sure I never made any such transfer. It was all quite dodgy if you ask me.

Last Sunday I got a text from someone claiming to be HM Revenue & Customs saying I had a p800 tax refund for the years 2015-2020 and asking me to click on a link. It was obvious a scam, so I reported it straight away.

Got a call saying they were from Virgin and claimed there was an issue with withdrawing money from my bank. They told me to click a link to update my bank info so my service wouldn’t be cut off. But Virgin emails never include phone numbers. Definitely a scam. Best to ring your bank directly and don’t use any numbers they give you. Always get contact details from the official company website.

Got a text from +44 7957936787 saying I could get a refund on my TV licence because of COVID if I clicked their link. Obviously, I passed the details on to the TV licence authorities so they can check it out and hopefully stop it. No reply from them, just hit delete straight away!

Today, I got a rather dodgy call from someone masquerading as an HMRC official. The moment they began throwing around threats, I promptly ended the conversation. What a nuisance!

Beware, just got a dodgy call pretending to be from HM Revenue & Customs. They said I've got a tax refund from years 2015 to 2020 and asked me to click a link. The link looked like some fake govrefundservice site. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!

Got a message from some scammer saying I could get a refund if I clicked a link. I didn’t click it, but I replied telling them to stop bothering people and then blocked the number. Sadly, I doubt it’ll stop them from trying again.

Got a dodgy text from someone pretending to be HMRC about a P800 tax refund from the past five years. It had a link like govrefunddservice[###].u - seemed super sketchy! Definitely not clicking on that.

Got a text mentioning some kind of tax refund, but I’m not sure if it’s legit or just a con. Haven’t even opened it to be on the safe side.
