Got a call from someone claiming to be Royal Mail, saying I owed £2.99. They gave me a website ending in [###], not the usual [###], which immediately seemed dodgy. What really set off alarm bells was the threat at the end - something like “#Actions will be taken if you don’t pay this#”. Pretty classic scare tactic if you ask me.

It's a complete con, they want all your bank info and card digits. When I tried tracking the parcel on the official Royal Mail site, it just said the number didn't exist. I wasn't having any of it, so I fired off a pretty blunt message and then rang them non-stop for about an hour. Maybe they'd enjoy a bit of their own medicine!

Got a message from this number saying it was Royal Mail and demanding £2.99 to deliver my parcel. They sent me a tracking number, but it turned out not to work on the Royal Mail site at all - it was for Parcelforce instead. I tried to check it with Parcelforce and guess what? The tracking code wasn’t even valid there either! Quite dodgy if you ask me.
