I got a recorded call saying that my card had been charged twice - once for about £100 to Amazon and another time for roughly £865 to some International Banking Company. Apparently, these payments were new on my card. It asked me to press 1 if I authorised it, or 2 to talk to someone. I pressed 2 and was connected to a bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from VISA, asking how he could assist. When I mentioned I wasn’t convinced this was legit, he just ended the call on me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, said there was a letter that came back and threatened legal trouble if I didn’t press 1 to talk to them. Seems dodgy, watch out!
