Got a call saying it was a security alert for my address, and somehow they already had my name! I asked them to send me proof in writing before I’d say anything else. It sounded a bit off, so I just refused to share any personal details. If they really need info, they can write to me first.

Someone called me from this number, a woman who said she was selling crime prevention gear. She actually knew my name and phone number, which was a bit concerning. She kept pushing quite nicely, but I didn’t give her any of my details or agree to buy anything.

I was just about to leave a message on their voicemail and said my first name, but then it sounded like the call got cut off and ended suddenly.
