I got a message claiming to be from HMRC about a tax refund I supposedly had waiting. Thing is, I’m nowhere near old enough to even pay tax. They attached a link for me to fill out some kind of form. Then, when I was using my online banking app a bit later, it popped up with a warning about a rise in HMRC-related scams. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.
