I got a call and the person asked, "Is this Jane?" I said yes, but I could hear typing noises in the background and a really long silence after that. The keyboard kept going and then he said, "Hi Jane, how’s your day going?" At that point I just hung up. Not sure if it was some sales call or what, but anyone who starts with “How’s your day” just makes me want to end the call quick. They probably don't care at all about how you're doing!
