Got a call from someone saying they were with the FCA offering help with a PPI claim that I never filed. Honestly, it seems dodgy and like a scam to me.

I picked up the phone and all I got was nothing but silence. Even though I'm on the TPS list, these irritating calls keep coming through. TPS told me there's nothing they can do about calls where no one's speaking. To make it worse, yesterday I found a voicemail from a number I didn't recognise. The caller was speaking in some Asian or Indian tongue, but in the background I could hear people chatting in English - sounded like some call centre. Seriously, who actually wants this rubbish? There should be a law against cold calls altogether.

Got a ring from this number saying something about getting ppi money back. I told them i've already sorted it out, but then they kept pushing, asking if I’d forgotten any of it. I said no and just hung up. I’ve blocked them since. Was a pain coz I was expecting an important call and had to pick up. Not happy about it.
