It took me three attempts before I was finally able to get through, as the first two times went unanswered. When someone finally picked up on the third try, I was taken aback when they accused me of having made calls to them. I tried to clarify that my sole purpose for calling was to ascertain who had rung me unexpectedly from their number. The person insisted they hadn’t placed any calls that morning. I have proof that my phone shows I was indeed called by her number-otherwise, I wouldn't have reached out! The whole exchange was quite bizarre, to say the least.
