H e claimed that a cheque for £5,400 would be forwarded to be along with paperwork and that his colleague would phone me tomorrow morning at 11am 10.12.25. I knew it was a scam and this is why yu are being informed.1 yearSome bloke named Daniel Piper rang up saying he was with Prudential and told my mum she was owed £5400. He insisted she buy £200 worth of prepaid cards and said someone would come collect them before she got the cash. We weren’t having any of it and I reported the call to the police straight away. He kept ringing back, real pushy, so when he called again I picked up and gave him a proper telling off. He got a bit nasty but I told him I’d looked up the number online and already alerted the cops.
