Got a call from some lad named Kevin Jones, said he was from Manchester’s Credit and Investigations team, representing Citizens Advice. Yeah right, I’m not falling for that. Blocked straight away.

Got a call from an EE mobile claiming to be Citizens Advice - total scam. I’ve now added this dodgy number to my ever-growing list of private mobiles I’ve reported to Trading Standards, Action Fraud, and Citizens Advice themselves. Stay wary!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from "Citizens Advice." They started going on about how I apparently owe debts or something and offered their help. I asked them to specify what debts they were talking about. Then the caller switched gears, saying they just wanted to update my 'file' and tried to get me to confirm an old address. Told them I don't live there anymore and they just hung up. Number got blocked right after.

That caller was really rude, seemed like some sort of scam to me.

Phone rang and they used my full name, claiming I was signed up for some government programme to help with debt repayments. I told them I wasn’t interested, and the guy said, “we’re not selling anything,” but kept on talking, so I just hung up. If you owe money, you'd get a letter through the post, not a random call like this. Definitely a scam trying to fish for your bank info. Blocked straight away.

Got a call from this number, but as soon as I picked up, they dropped the call. Then I got a call on my landline from a withheld number claiming to be from Citizens Advice, saying they'd seen my debt file. I told them that CAB never call you first without you getting in touch with them, and they immediately hung up. Definitely a SCAM. I've blocked the number on my phone now.

Got two calls from this number and didn’t pick up either time. When it rang a third time, I answered and straight away said I wasn’t interested before he could pitch anything. He just said alright and hung up. I’ve blocked the number now.

I got a call claiming it was about my credit report and some supposed 'bad debt’. When I told them I didn’t owe anything, they just said ‘yes you do’ and then cut the call. Definitely dodgy - watch out for these scammers!
